This tool redefines the ads manager, giving you all the functionality of the native app, with core Madgicx enhancements.
Use it to monitor and manage all of your assets, campaigns, ad sets, and ads, all in one place. When you want to assess your account’s performance, you should be able to quickly identify your winning assets: this will help you make faster, more informed decisions.
This tool has 5 main features:
The only place on the internet that lets you analyze your performance on all asset types, Campaigns, ad sets, and ads, in the same view.
This is a simple but efficient way to get an idea of asset performance trends.
This is a quick way to implement changes and take action on any selected asset. Select an asset or several, and then select any action you want: from analyzing the creatives, to starting a bid test.
You can now search for any specific behavior or trend: simply choose a KPI or any criteria from the list, then hit search and see only the assets that has this specific value, all ads with CTR lower than 1%, than use “Manage Asset” Function to optimize those search results.
Just like the rest of Madgicx, we made sure to inject this ads manager with the ability to differentiate between Acquisition Retargeting and Retention assets, allowing us to better judge if the performance should be as it is or below the average for that funnel stage.
The main table shows all your assets and their performance over the time frame you selected, color-coded by funnel stage. On the first tab, All assets, you can expand and collapse your assets and have a bird’s eye view of your entire account: or click on the other tabs to see only campaigns, ad sets, or ads.
Click on the time frame button on the top right to change the data time frame.
You can use the drop-down menu next to each metric to change between your top KPIs, and compare a wide range of performance metrics. On the ad sets tab, clicking on the ad set will open it in Ad Set Storyline, and allow you to analyze its performance by day.
On all tabs, you have the option to open an asset on your Facebook ad manager, by clicking View on Facebook.
The columns:
This column shows any changes made on the asset, and who made them. For example, If Stop Loss has paused an ad set and I manually turned it back on, the column will show one automation action and one action by me.
If you run an ad agency or if you have many team members managing your account, the Latest actions column shows you the actions that have taken place on each asset. It’s important to know who or what is responsible for making changes to the account.
This column lets you view and edit the budget for every asset- ad set or campaign.
This column shows your top performance KPIs: the default for eCommerce accounts is Amount Spent, ROAS, and Clicks, but you can pick your metrics by clicking on the drop-down menu arrows.
These sleek graphs let you analyze trends in your assets’ performance over the last five weeks.
This column shows you any optimizations you are currently running on that asset: automation tactics or strategies.
Select an asset and click on Manage Assets. Then, select any action you want to perform: pause, change budget, or start a bid test. You can select several assets at the same time, and apply the action to all of them: for example, you can find your campaigns with the highest ROAS and scale them.
You should always pause ads rather than delete them: deleting your ads also removes their data from Madgicx, which might hurt your analytics accuracy.
The search bar is one of this tool’s most powerful features. Search and filter for any assets you want, and apply multiple filters at the same time.
You can search for:
You can search for any metric, and see your best and worst-performing campaigns for every KPI. For example, if you want to see which of your creatives drive the highest CTR, you could search ads with a specifically high CTR.
You can search by name to find a specific asset, or a name category: for example, your Black Friday ads.
You can also monitor your asset status for all assets at once: active, disapproved, or pending review.
You can also filter by funnel stage, and see your performance along your entire funnel.
Experiment with Campaign Overview and see how you can manage your account, analyze and optimize your assets.
Ads Manager 2.0 gives you the option to open copy and creatives in Ad Copy Insights or Creative Insights to get deep insights on your performance.
Click on Analyze creatives and then Go to Creative Insights to see the performance of your creatives over time.
